General conditions

Comprehensive insurances

• Third party liability insurance: Limited coverage at the level of minimum legal requirements included in the rates.
• Own liability damage/theft: Loss Damage Waiver (LDW = CDW + TW) is mandatory and included in the rates. The renter's liability for damage to the rental vehicle and damage due to theft/break in is reduce to the non-waivable amount.

Driving license

Renter or Driver must have their valid driving license ( minimum 2 years) . Renter or Driver must be at least 21 or 24 years of age, depending on the car category. Driving license, accompanied by other valid ID document must be presented at the pick-up time. International driving license is required for all non-European citizens. ATTENTION: international driving license is valid only if presented together with your original one. The driving license must be valid in the country of rental

Additional driver

In case of more than 1 person authorized to drive the rented vehicle, an additional charge of 6,25€ for each additional driver per rental will be charged. Age and driving license validity criteria apply to all additional drivers.

Rental agreement and its duration

The rental duration is calculated on the basis of 24 hours' periods and starts after the Renter is given the car keys. If the period is exceeded by more than 29 minutes, another full day will be charged. The final invoice will be issued after the car is given back to Europcar by the Renter

Rental extension

Subject to car availability.

Fuel

The cars should be given back with the same amount of fuel. Otherwise the Renter will be charged with the refueling costs of fuel  per liter of missing fuel +  fuel tank service 17,50€ net. 

Additional charges:

Airport charge - 35€ per  rental .

After hours charge - 31,€ for each.

Winter tires – in the winter time (from 15 November till 31 March)  Winter tires rental cost is 2€ daily  daily, maximum 60€ per rental.

Accessories

• Baby seats at 6,25 e po danu  are available on request and have to be reserved in advance.
• Navigation system at 10€  per day, maximum 100€ per rental.

One way rentals

Allowed both domestic and international.

Travel Outside The Borders Of Croatia 

It is the Renter's duty to notify Europcar about every plan of leaving the territory of Croatia with the rented car, each time separately.
To be paid if you drive into following countries:  Serbia, Monte Negro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary & Slovenia.

Additional charge for cross border in these countries is 12,50€ .

It is not allowed entrance in any other countries not mentioned above.

Methods of payment

Credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS).

Credit card payment is preferred (with embossed digits – note that Europcar does not accept Visa Electron card types as well as debit cards). The card will be per-authorised for the amount covering estimated car rental and other possible cost like excess, refueling charge, rental extension, etc.
